Chinese Embassy launches app for security bulletins and tourism guidance in SA

Pretoria, Dec 14 (People's Daily Online) - A WeChat account on security bulletins in SA, a website and a mobile phone application on tourism guidance for overseas Chinese community in South Africa have been launched by the Chinese Embassy in SA on Tuesday.

More than 300 thousand overseas Chinese are currently living in SA. And statistic shows that there has been nearly 90 thousand Chinese tourists visited SA from this January to September, which sees a 58% increase comparing to the same period in last year.

The WeChat account provides Chinese community in SA with accurate and comprehensive security information by sending out daily bulletins on security issues, reminders and warnings in Chinese.

The website (www.travel2sa.cn) and the mobile phone application that can be downloaded in app store, prepare Chinese tourists visiting SA with relevant guidance and detailed information for their trips in SA.
