SNPTC previously signed an agreement on Training Program for South African Civil Nuclear Energy Projects with the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (NECSA) in Dec, 2014.

According to the training agreement, SNPTC is going to train about 300 nuclear technical and management staffs through a two-year’s nuclear training program on basic education, professional and on-the-job training, which will train talents for South Africa’s nuclear power project.

In April, NECSA signed a additional cooperation agreement with SNPTC for training on project management for nuclear power projects. The agreement calls for South Africa to send project managers to construction sites in China where demonstration CAP1400 units are planned.
